Hacked blueyonder email account

Hello,

My blueyonder.co.uk email account has been hacked, which is causing me a lot of grief. I have been told by customer support that VM no longer support this email account and cannot give me access to it. Can anyone tell me how to get into the account to change the password and secure it?

  • Hi Dave_the_Dive thanks for posting and welcome to our community.

Sorry to hear of your email address being hacked and for any inconvenience it may be causing you.  Can you please advise me if you mean that you've been advised that the email address in question is no longer attached to a live Virgin Media broadband account?  I would like to take a closer look on your behalf.  I am going to send you a private message.  Please keep an eye on your inbox in the top right of the screen.

    Regards

  • Hi Lee,

    Thank you for your reply.

When I became aware of my email being hacked, I did a live chat with customer support. Initially I was told they had changed my password, but I soon became aware the hacker was still active on my email account. I then contacted again a second time to be told they would have to pass it on to Tech department, which would take up to 5 days for them to respond, I didn't get any contact from them. I then contacted customer support for the 3rd time to be told that VM no longer supported maintenance to blueyonder accounts and to contact Cyber Crime unit. When I go into my VM account only my VM email account is listed.

    Regards.

    Dave.

      Hello Lee,

Yes I'm happy with the response I have had from my posting on the forum. I received a phone call on Saturday from someone at VM asking me about my blueyonder email account, I was told that it had been removed, can you confirm that my blueyonder account is no longer active?

      Many thanks.
