fully deleting secondary NTL account?

Hi, Had a ntlworld email account as a secondary account on a live VM broadband account. Deleted it couple days ago via the "Manage other My Virgin Media accounts" link in the primary My Virgin Media account. I keep getting emails on the ntl account via my mobile so it appears the ntlworld email account is still active. Can anyone please advise how can I delete this account completely?

    ADG61​  I'm puzzled as to how you did this a 'couple of days ago via the "Manage other My Virgin Media accounts" ' link as that option was removed from the system around 14 July 2025.

    A member of the VM Forum Team staff should be able to help you with deleting the account permanently when they reach this thread in a day or so.  It isn't something that a user can do.

      Graham, I can assure you the option was there with the ntl account accompanied by a little dustbin icon!! Or perhaps my description of the location for the setting isnt quite right but thanks for your reply and the info regarding further help on its way.

        Sorry to hear of the email account issues and you wanting to delete the mailbox to close it fully, we appreciate you raising this via the forums and welcome to the community.

         

        There isn't a way to delete the email mailbox from a device, you may be able to remove the details from the device but not close the actual account itself. We're happy to help with this and I will send you a Private Message, please keep an eye out in the top right when signed into the forums for the envelope.
