Forgotten ntlworld password

I have forgotten my NTLworld email password - it did not get transferred to new iPad. When I try to change it using MyVirginMedia app all it does is change the password to login into MyVirginMedia app. I have no trouble logging in - I’m using it to write this. So, how do I put a new password on my NTLworld email. I can’t seem to access it at all??

      Thanks for your reply. I have a VM password and can access the Mt Virgin app etc, but I cannot send my NTLworld.com email. I’ve had it for years, my wife has another. I got a new iPad and it didn’t transfer some data from the old to the new, which included the password for my email. I tried copying it from my iPhone but just got the word PASSWORD. using MY VIRGIN MEDIA app I thought I could add a new password. I entered the NTL address etc and all seemed good, but then it kept referring to a new Virgin media password. I’d already gone through this and ended up changing my Virgin Media password, which I did not want to do again. So … how do I change the password of my NTL email, NOT my Virgin media password. Sorry if I’m missing something!

        arthurjack To change the password for the Ntlworld email address you first need to sign out of your Virgin media address.

        When you have done so you need to log into the My Virgin Media account for the secondary Ntlworld email address.

        Each email address now has its own My VM account

        Secondary accounts changes now have to be made via the My Virgin Media account for the secondary email.

        Sign into the account here: https://www.virginmedia.com/my-virgin-media using the email address concerned and the current password. Once logged in click on Account Settings then Account details. You should now see the options to change password etc.

        If that isn't available try https://www.virginmedia.com/my-virgin-media/forgotten-details/password

        If no security answers have been set for the email address concerned then you will need to call in for support and select technical issues> email

        This process is likely to require you to change the account username to a third party email address in order to get through the new two factor authentication system that VM have introduced.
