Is it possible the ntlworld domain has been blacklisted
It is possible but I have just run
"www.ntlworld.com"
through this domain checker:
https://mxtoolbox.com/domain
(Apologies but the forum software is not allowing me to insert clickable links into posts so you will need to copy and past the mxtoolbox link into your browser.)
That check showed the ntlworld domain is not on blacklist/blocklist (see A in the image below) but there were a number of potential warnings (see B in the image) about the DNS (Domain Name System)
However, as a check I have just sent test emails from my Ntlworld email account to:
- my Gmail account
- my Yahoo account
- and my private/personal domain email account
and all three test emails arrived in the respective inboxes without any problem.
Do the emails that went missing have anything in common? Perhaps all sent to the same recipient or the same domain or did they all have an attachment?

There are only 2 DNS warnings and these are just advisory - there's not much to see in those.
Domains themselves don't tend to be blacklisted - IP addresses are. Virgin Media uses different outbound servers to inbound ones, so I'd tend to view that part of the MX Supertool report with a pinch of salt.
Likewise when I looked at the SMTP server report. Most of the warnings are invalid as Virgin Media's inbound servers rejected to attempted connection.Transcript: Connecting to 84.116.6.18 Transcript: Transcript: SendSMTPCommand: You hung up on us after we connected. Hi Coenoby,
There's nothing in common between the emails and no attachments.
A couple of the mails I know went missing went to the same domain but one was to multiple addresses so nothing in common there.

Why are people still struggling to use ntlworld emails, when there are better, more reliable email accounts available?

Hi Robert,
Yes, I'm still experiencing the same issue and no, there isn't anything in common to the emails or attachments. I have answered Coenoby's comment above

Hi Howardtri,
Thanks for coming back to us on this one.
Without there being any error or bounce back, there isn't really much we can do on this one.
it may be worth ensuring the receiving mail address has you added as a safe sender incase the emails are being deleted / forwarded to spam.
Many thanks,
