Emails not being received on outlook app

I have the same issue.  ntlworld email address is not receiving or sending emails on the Outlook app on my Mac for the past 10 days.  It says it's syncing, but nothing happens. 

Have generated a new app password, but still doesn't sync.

Has this issue been resolved on VM end?  What do we need to do?

    Thanks for reaching out to us regarding this, we are aware this is an issue for some and has been raised and currently waiting for an update of when it is fixed?

      Is there any news on a fix for this?  Outlook still not receiving or sending emails from ntlworld email account.  Have generated a new app password multiple times and no luck.

        Hi Catherine36, 

        Thanks for coming back to us on this. There has been no update on this as of yet. 

        In the meantime, are you able to log into webmail directly to view your emails?

    I am experiencing the same issue with Outlook.  Please could the team issue a fix as soon as possible as this has been going on for a while now.

      Hi Concerttom 

      Thanks for posting and welcome back to the community. 

      Please can you confirm if you've tried this;

      Sign into the My Virgin media account for the email concerned with your VMO2ID
      Select Account Settings
      Select Identity & Security Settings
      Select Manage your products
      Select Manage email app password
      Click on the blue button 'Get New Password'
      Make a note of the generated password. This is what you use in the mail apps along with the Virgin Media email address as the username.

        Hi John, thanks for your reply.  I have tried this a few times and it has still not worked.  Please can you find a solution to this as I am missing a lot of emails.

    Edit - I have since found the problem was cased by my Virtual Private Network on my iPhone, which I disabled and everything works fine now.  Thanks for your help and I hope that this is helpful for others too.
