Emails from VM counting down from 30 days to deletion
I to have this problem. Have been a customer since the early 90's. Moved to my present house in 2003, not had a break in service since.
Emails from VM counting down from 30 days to deletion of virgin.net email account - 15 left. I rang up today and chap said that my email was linked to an old account number, and nothing could be done unless I told him what it was.
He couldn't even tell me what year this changed but suggested I looked through my bank statements!!!
I renewed my deal this August for 18 months not because it was a good package (it wasn't) just to keep my email address alive. I said as far as I was concerned, the email address was a part of the package and removing it was a breach of contract giving me the right to terminate the agreement.
I've sent in a written complaint to VM - they up to 28 days to reply. Charming
It seems to me that VM don't want to bother with the virgin.net emails and are forcing people out.
Not good customer service, very disappointed
