Email not working & new password is not being accepted

Last few days I have had the same issue.  I have generated new passwords to try & get emails working. Virginmedia are saying it is not there issue & passed me on to the gadget team for a cost to myself to fix. Seeing all the other people on here are having the same issue, it would appear it is a money making exercise for VM

      My husband and I have had the same problem since Thursday.  I can receive emails fine on my phone (Mail from Gmail) and Kindle but not on Outlook.  I have uninstalled, re-installed, changed password etc to no avail.  It's obviously a VM problem.

      Hi , it now seems to be working again fine. I also raised a complaint about being sent to the gadget team & have finally managed to get that amount refunded. I must have spoken to 9 advisers about the issues, 6 were terrible & tried to put the blame my way, 3 were very good & tried to help me. I was also informed,  it is a VMedia issue that caused it, to do with joining forces with O2. Fingers crossed it all continues smoothly now 

  • I have had EXACTLY the same problem with my VM E-mail as all you other folks. At one time they stated there was some problem with 'Outlook' even though my Gmail & Hotmail address's were working absolutely fine. They couldn't fix it despite two 'Escalations' and eventually I was put through to this 'Gadget Team' whom did manage to get me up & running again. But what is this about  a 'Cost' I know nothing about this.
