Email help needed

hi, I have recently had computer failure and now have new pc, the problem is when I try to ad my Virgin media Email to outlook it says there was "a problem". now I no longer have access to the third party E mail used for authentication for password changes ect and my password is not recognised for the my virgin media page on my pc but I can access it on my Android tablet that uses Biometrics to sign in, but I can find no option to change passwords or such that doesn't require a pass code sent to the address that I no longer have access to.

Is there any way forward?

    Thanks for your post and welcome to our community.

    We're sorry to hear you're having some issues accessing the email service on your new device. 

    If you are the account holder, please try the below and let us know how you get on. 

    Sign in to My Virgin Media here
    Go to Account settings, then Account details
    Tap Manage next to Manage your Virgin Media Mail app password under Virgin Media Mail
    Then, under Virgin Media Mail app password tap Get password
    Continue the flow and a new secure password will be generated, and the mailbox unlocked
    Update any third-party apps that may be use to access your Virgin Media Mail emails with this new app password.

      thanks for the reply, unfortunately it is a sub account and I can no longer get access to he third party Email address for authentication(pass code) to make any changes or generate a new app password, any ideas on a way forward?

        Sorry, just to confirm, you aren't able to access the third-party email through your android tablet? It looks like this is what you advised above in your original post. Are you able to confirm this, please?
