Email _from_ gmail to blueyonder goes to spam or bounces

In addition to the mail to gmail causing issues my blueyonder account is getting many, but not all, messages from gmail going to Spam. Fortunately I've set the web interface to allow me to see Spam, or I wouldn't have noticed. Then today I've have an email to me bounce. What is going on? It seems VM can't be trusted with email any longer.

    If the sender of that email received a bounce (non delivery) message back then it will give the reason that the email could not be delivered to your Blueyonder email account. That would help to explain what is going on there.

      That sender's mail is now getting through, but only as far as my Spam folder, like most gmail.com mail. I know to look there, but many other users won't know to enable viewing of that folder, never mind looking at it. VM really needs to make up with gmail and get this sorted.
