You may not use the Auto Forward option in Virgin Media webmail but there are two others that your VM emails can arrive in you Gmail account:

1. Rather than using the obvious Auto Forward option in Webmail you may have set up your own Filter Rule in your VM webmail to redirect all incoming emails to your Gmail account. So check the Filter Rules in your webmail account.
2. Rather than forwarding your VM emails to your Gmail account you may have set Gmail to import your VM emails into Gmail  (In other words,  Gmail may be importing your VM emails from your VM account rather than VM webmail forwarding them.).           

You can check whether Gmail is importing your emails by going to Gmail's settings , then  > See all settings. > Accounts and Import or Accounts tab. > 'Check mail from other accounts'.  If your VM email address is listed, simply delete it to stop Gmail picking up your emails.
