closing down virgin.net emails
I am inquiring on behalf of my parents who are in there 80s and after well over 10 years their virgin net email address look like they are being switched off as they do not have any active Virgin Media accounts
I have just read some other posts where others have had a similar issue.
As this address has been in use by them for many years they have a lot of web based accounts connected to the address which will involve them and probably me sorting these out within the 30 days stated before closing the accounts.
Is there nothing we can do to retain the email address ?
Any tips gratefully received.
If your parents are no longer customers of VM broadband, VM has been very busy closing down these legacy accounts. In the past they have been closed without warning. The present 30 day notice seems to be an attempt on the part of VM to mitigate against the inconvenience to an extent. Without a VM broadband service in place there does not appear any possible options to avoid the closure.
