You don’t say whether you still have any other services, such as a broadband account, with Virgin Media.
If you don’t have any paid for VM services then the chances are that VM have now closed the account. According to their broadband contract, 90 days after the broadband account is closed they should delete all email accounts attached to it.
In the past VM rarely bothered to do that but things have changed in the last few years. They stopped issuing new email accounts almost 3 years ago and since then new VM customers don’t have the option of having a VM email account. Since then VM have stepped up and started closing email accounts that are no longer linked to a live broadband account.
VM still support existing VM email accounts that are linked to a live broadband account so if that is the case then VM staff can offer support – but only to the person whose name is on the broadband account.
Post back if you are still a VM customer and a member of the forum will be able to offer you some tips on restoring access yourself.
