Cannot send mail on iphone

Today I cannot send emails from my iphone (blueyonder account), they are sending perfectly fine from my ipad and my windows computer using Outlook.

The message I get is: 

Cannot send mail

The username or password for xxx@smtp.blueyonder.co.uk is incorrect

I have not recently changed password, nor any phone settings, mail was sending OK yesterday. I cannot see anything obviously amiss in the settings.

Any ideas?

    Sorry to hear that your emails on not sending on your app on your iPhone.  Please can you confirm the settings are as they are shown in here?  Also is your app and phone software up to date? Is the password for your app on the iPhone in sync with the other devices?

  • Thanks @Lee_R, I found the outgoing server port set to 465, I changed it to 995 and that seems to have sorted the issue.
