Cannot access ntlworld email after 20+ years - please help
Hi! I would really appreciate some help. I have used an ntlworld email since childhood. When the VM changes happened some years ago, I had to change my username to a second email address but I've still been able to log in this way.
Tonight- when I tried to go on my emails on my laptop (via https://mail2.virginmedia.com), it directed me to register for VMO2 ID. I had to verify my email on my second email address, which I did. It then asked me to link my VM account to my VMO2 ID. The problem is- I don't have a VM account, only my ntlworld email. It then doesn't let me proceed in any way.
I use my email address constantly every day for lots of different purposes, work-related through to hospital correspondence.
Please tell me I've not all of a sudden had my email access blocked after 20+ years, with no notice?!
Virginmedia have for a long time been deleting email accounts not linked to one of their broadband accounts. it sounds like they have finally caught up with yours.
