Can’t now access my ntlworld email through my iPhone
Started receiving messages yesterday saying incorrect password for the imap server. Followed the VM online instructions, ultimately deleted the account from my iphone and generated the five word recovery password as per VM’s instructions, then attempted to restore the account. Password still not recognised! Although I appear to still be able to access my emails on my windows laptop, this is massively inconvenient. Help please!
The good news is that I’ve managed to resolve this. I found VM’s instructions on resetting the password for when using the email account on a 3rd party app. This generated a four word password which I used to successfully to restore the account on my iPhone.
