Blueyonder issue

I don’t have any access to my Blueyonder mailbox since yesterday. I just get this message:

The user name or password for ‘myname@smtp.blueyonder.co.uk is incorrect’

I’ve not changed/updated anything recently. Has anyone else got this problem? 

  • I can no longer send or receive my blueyonder e mail. I got a message saying

     

    Cannot send mail. The user name or password for ‘myname@smtp.blueyonder.co.uk’ is incorrect.

    Has anyone else had this problem?

      Hi vmoar

      Thank you for your post, I'm sorry to hear you're having trouble accessing your emails. I can assume from your second post that you were able to sign in in the end, which is good to hear 😊

      If you have reset your password though, you'll have to ensure it's also updated on any third party clients you're using to access your emails. Can you please let us know what app/client you're using so we can help you further?

      I'd double check your settings the domain should only read blueyonder.co.uk in your username, not smtp.blueyonder.co.uk

  • I lost my blueyonder e mail last week. I get the message 

    ‘Cannot send e mail

    The username or password for SMT:(my name)@smtp.blueyonder.co.uk is incorrect.’

    I can’t receive or send any emails. I’ve tried to call Virgin Media, but they just got frustrated when I was trying to explain. I’ve tried the website, but can’t get through as the email isn’t recognised.

    Can anyone help me with this please? I’m worried about all the emails I’m missing and can’t send.
