Ok but that does not necessarily mean she is out of the woods.
- VM stopped issuing new email accounts 3 years ago and, since then, new VM customers are no longer offered VM email accounts.
- It may be possible to get VM to link her old "orphaned" email account to the current broadband account but there are a number of restrictions on that. In any event she will still need to have a non VM email account to continue using the Blueyonder account. The VM email system now requires you to have a non VM email account as the username for your VM email account.
Sorry to sound negative but the long term future of the VM email service is unclear. If she has an iPad I would suggest that an Apple iCloud mail account might be a better option to go with.
