Blueyonder emails - again

I recently had to clear cookies etc on my p.c. When I tried to access my blueyonder (mail email), I had to sign in to the VM account. The account is in my wife's name & I had to use her virgin email to sign back in to VM. However, when I now go to "my email", it opens her virgin email. I can find no way to get back in to my blueyonder address. I rang "support", thinking it was an easy fix. However, after a very frustrating telephone session, the help was as useless as a chocolate fire guard. The only thing I got was "I will open a ticket"!

Luckily, I can still access my blueyonder emails on my phone, otherwise I would be stuffed.

This seems to be a common issue, but can't seem to find a solution, either via VM "help" pages, or the forum.

The input of a VM rep. would be appreciated.

TIA.

  • Lily6. Do you recall if you set a third party email address as the username for the blueyonder email address in the last couple of years?  If so then that is the email address you need to be entering at the sign in stage.

Lilly6  The mistake you made was signing into your wife's account first.  You need to sign out of that account and then go to mail.virginmedia.com and sign in with your own blueyonder email address and password.  If you haven't already done so you may be prompted to setup a VMO2 ID for the account.  If so use the same blueyonder email address to set it up but you will need to add a different third party email address as a backup email for verification purposes.

      Thanks.

Hovever, is says my blueyonder email is "Not a valid email". No prompt for a new VMO2 ID
