Blueyonder email, combined with attempting to access account plus a new phone

I have a blueyonder email account, a Virgin media account for broadband/landline/cable box.  My wife has an O2 phone account.  In attempting to log in to at least one of these, we get supposed links to our emails, none of which arrive. Nothing we do seems to allow us to get in.  My wife wishes to set up her email on the phone and is unable to. Please advise
