Another ntlworld user locked out of email

As with the many, many other reports on here, I cannot access my ntlworld email account via outlook, iphone. I can still get in for now via a browser.

This is 100% a VM created problem - unless you're suggesting hundreds of unconnected people around the country all getting the same problem at the same time is a coincidence?

What is being done on the VM side to resolve this?

    Thanks for posting and welcome to the community. Sorry for any email issues but thanks for letting us know it's a third party email client you're using. Try this please;

    Sign into the My Virgin media account for the email concerned with your VMO2ID
    Select Account Settings
    Select Identity & Security Settings
    Select Manage your products
    Select Manage email app password
    Click on the blue button 'Get New Password'
    Make a note of the generated password. This is what you use in the mail apps along with the Virgin Media email address as the username.
