Every 18 months i have to go through the nausea of negotiating a new contract. No other provider covers my area so I'm stuck with Virgin. I only need broadband and a TV package yet I'm charged £79 a month as an existing customer of 20 years yet a new customer can get better for only £33 a month. Virgin your a disgrace

Do you mean you can get no other high speed services or no other services at all (which would be unusual)?
Turns out the only other option is a Sky dish

To conduct a reasonable comparison, it's useful to know which specific broadband & TV tiers you're talking about.
As an illustration, VM offer 2 TV tiers - base-Mixit or top-tier Mega. Broadband has at least 3 speed tiers I believe.
