Old phine sockets

Question

Is there any harm in me remove the old virgin and BT copper wire phone sockets and cut the wires off seeing my home phone is now through the hub? I'm fed up with seeing sodding cables stapled to my skirts and the phone sockets getting in the way and just collecting dust.

Should not be a problem, although there is a slight chance there will be 50v on them. Just cut core separately and insulate unless you have a tester.

Just note the BT master socket is the property of BT and should be left alone.&nbsp; All wiring from this box to the rest of the house can be removed.&nbsp;&nbsp;
