Disappearing Recordings on TiVo box

I clicked on my recordings this morning only to find something strange. The usual folders are there but some of them are empty despite telling me how many recordings are in each folder.

It's not happening on all of them but it is tending to be the more recent recordings that aren't showing although periodically they will appear then disappear. 

Does anyone know what this is or how to fix it? I've got an engineer visit booked in for Monday, I just wondered whether this is a glitch of if the box is faulty.

    If the box is faulty, make sure if they suggest the 360, you have a good read about the differences.  Personally, if I was used to the Tivo software, I would stick with it on a replacement V6.

    BTW, which box do you have, the original Tivo or a V6 ?
