WiFi poor optimisation

Lately, the Wi-Fi speed in some rooms has been fluctuating between 5 and 50 Mbps. On certain devices, a Speedtest shows over 100 Mbps, while at the same time, another device might only get 5 Mbps. I already have one black booster — could I get another one to help rule out weak signal issues? Alternatively, would it be possible to upgrade to the newer hub? The current one is a Hub 4.

Thanks

Placing Wi-Fi Repeaters / VM pods too far from the VM Hub is the most common reason they fail to work as expected.

The VM Pod must be placed where there is a good signal from the VM Hub,  if the VM Pod has been placed in a room with a very weak Hub signal the outcome may be considerably worse that having no VM Pod at all.

That’s not the case here. The POD is positioned just outside the room with the Hub and is connected via Ethernet. The house has internal Ethernet wiring, but some rooms—possibly by mistake—don’t have a port, and those rooms end up suffering. That’s why I’m asking for my extra 2 Pods to cover the whole house, or latest router if that helps.
