WIFI PODS

I had an engineer come to replace V6 box as it was faulty and I asked him how to get extra WiFi pods. He had some on the van but they were only reserved for O2 customers ? And I just need to order via the App? I downloaded the App to run the test but I have zero signal in my kitchen or bathroom. When I scan using the app it says that I am outside my house and to go back in ! I therefore cannot order via the app as I cannot get any test results. Tried calling 150 and not possible to connect my call . Any ideas ? Thanks

    1. Contact Virgin Media Support: Since the app isn't working for you and calling 150 hasn't been successful, you can try reaching out to Virgin Media through their online chat or social media channels. They might be able to assist you directly with ordering the WiFi Pods.
    2. Use the Virgin Media Website: If the app isn't cooperating, you can log in to your Virgin Media account on their website and check if there's an option to order WiFi Pods there. Sometimes, the website provides alternative ways to manage your account.
    3. Check Eligibility for WiFi Pods: Ensure that your broadband package includes WiFi Max, as this is often required to access WiFi Pods. If not, you might need to add it to your package for an additional fee.
    4. Alternative Speed Test: If the app's speed test isn't working, you can try using an external speed test tool like RealSpeed - SamKnows to measure your WiFi performance. Share the results with Virgin Media support to demonstrate the need for WiFi Pods.

    Sorry to hear of your WiFi concerns and not being able to order pods. 

    Our WiFi max service allows our customers who aren't receiving the minimum WiFi we guarantee due to coverage issues, the option to have up to 3 WiFi pods to improve this. This service is an extra £8 a month, but if you're on an eligible package or an O2 customer, this service is inclusive within the package deal. You can find out more on this here should you need. 

     

    You can also run checks on Sam Knows real speed test here. Post your results and we can support further should you need.
