Wifi pod required

Hello, the VM connect app constantly fails for me when I try to do wifi speed tests. I've tried for the last two weeks without any success.

 I have wifi dead spots that need to be filled and would like a wifi pod to be sent out to me. I am on the Volt program so am eligible.

Could someone from support please reach out and help me solve this please?

    Thanks for posting and welcome back to the community. Sorry for any WiFi issues. Can you please elaborate, what happens when you try and run the tests? If you also have any third party Networking Equipment etc, these won't work with our Pods. 

    Can you also ensure the below is met on the Hub, as if not, the tests on the Connect App won't work;

    •    The Hub must be in 'Router Mode' and not have been changed to 'Modem Mode'.
    •    Channel Optimisation must be left on.
    •    The SSIDs must be the same and broadcast enabled.
    •    The SSID must be password protected.
    •    The Passphrases of the SSIDs must match.

  • Hello.

    I only have a hub 5x. The error just says that something went wrong and to try again in 10 mins. answers to your other queries below.

    • Hub is 5x so only router mode is available.
    • Is enabled and in auto
    • Only one SSID is setup and is broadcasting.
    • SSID is password protected 
    • Only one SSID.
