Wifi pod plug

(For the attention of a Mod) Hi, is there any chance I could have a new plug sent for my wifi pod? My dog has chewed through the cable. I have tried to get one online, but despite ordering the exact serial/model number the connection won't fit the pod as it is too fat, (waste of 15 quid).

Thank you

I'm assuming you have the newer black Pods?

Indeed I do, even if someone could let me know where to buy one would be helpful.

  • Hello? Just wondering why none of the mods have looked at this post?

the mods as you call them will have looked at your post within a few minutes of ou posting to see it contained nothing was against board policy - if it was fine they would move on to the next post - staff will get to the post in a few days - there used to be a 48 hour lag time even if the board was not busy - the idea being that users can jump in to help - not a lot of good here when you need a part sending

as to that not sure staff can help other than point you back to the phones

as to practical help - if your old supply is still working then join the wires and tape them up - solder is better but wound together will work - theres only 2 and they are usually marked so easy to work out what goes where - if you get it wrong the pod will not power up so change them round

or look on ebay for a convertor for the new one you bought - might be an adaptor or a male to female cable

The phones are absolutely pointless especially when you are trying to explain what you need to someone in a call centre not based in the UK. I assumed that I was asking for something that would be easy to replace, obviously not. My contract is up in March anyway, so after 20 years am leaving Virgin, especially now when you can't get a basic part replaced.
