WiFi pod - noise

I’ve had a WiFi pod for quite a while and over time I had noticed like a fan sound coming from it and presumed this was normal 🤦🏼‍♂️ however last week it started a sound like an alarm? Clearly this is not normal and I have unplugged, is there a solution to this or do I need a replacement??

    The solution is to totally avoid VM Pods, this failure mode has become a regular complaint.

    Thanks for reaching out to us, apologies for the issue you are having with one of our Wi-Fi Max pods, this is not typical behaviour and would need to be replaced. Please can you join me in a private message so that we can get this resolved for you ASAP.

    Please look out for the envelope on the top right of your screen or if you are using a mobile device it will be under the person logo on the top right. 
    For health and safety reasons could you please remove the Wi-Fi Max pocket from the socket.
