WiFi not automatically reconnecting

Firstly I am not techie, am on the 1GB Virgin fibre package and what I find happens is if my WiFi intermittently  goes down (usually overnight) I find its not automatically reconnecting to some of my devices mainly Alexa and associated plugs. Even though everything else is all fine. What I have to do is switch off  my Virgin Media Hub 5 and then switch it back on again, then everything re connects again. Is there anything I can do? Its almost like the devices like Alexa forget where they should be connected but then repowering the router gives them a kick start. Like I say I am not techie so go easy on me :-) and a huge thank you in advance. Mark.

    Recurrent Wi-Fi and DHCP failures in Router mode are a known fault of 
    Hub 5 with Sept 2025 software version : LG-RDK_11.6.2-2410.1

      Ah thats interesting to know. Do you know if theres any fix likely or anything I can do? It doesn't happen loads but am worried if it does it when I am on holiday and away from home then the smart plugs etc for lights wont work.
