WiFi keeps dropping out
I can watch live TV and recordings but every few minutes whilst watching catch up or Netflix for example I have to reconnect my WiFi. I don’t have this problem upstairs only on my main tv in the living room

Sounds like you may have poor wifi signal at the location of the TV in the living room. Try using a wifi analyser App (or Airport Utility on iOS) to check the relative strength of your SSID at the various locations
