Virgin throttling torrents? Speed drops down to 0 after short time

Hi.

I'm based in UK and got virgin 100M internet. I use qBitorrent and "connection" settings to TCP.

When I start qbitorrent speed is normal let's say 12mb/s and after a short while (like 1-2 minutes) it starts dropping down to complete 0.

If I will restart qbt it's back again 12mb/s and same story - it's going down.

It's annoying as hell. Has anyone had similar issues? Should I use different client? I have tried using my own router (virgin router in modem mode and my TP-LINK as access point WIFI) - same thing.

    Hey Kuvaa, thank you for reaching out and I am so sorry to hear about this, also a warm welcome to the community.

    I would try and use this without the TP link, we don't guarantee our equipment to work with 3rd party kit.

    How has it been since Monday, any improvement?
