Virgin hub 3 keeps randomly dropping connection

About 3 months into my contract the connection will randomly drop and the hub will be flashing green for a bit. I had a technician come round he said the cabling outside was outdated and had it replaced and yet the problem is still here in fact I think it’s getting worse.

    You mentioned a visit from an engineer and the replacing of a cable, was the cable an external cable from the street to the external box? 

     

    Are the disconnections over a wired connection, wireless or both? We have help here for wireless network issues. Let us know and we can assist further.
