Very frequent internet drops and slow speeds for over a week

Hi, 

I have very frequent drops in internet and slow speeds, this has been happening for a week. I use I a wired connection to device with wifi options off. Any help very much appreciated as the drops are enough that I disconnect from a work portal each time this happens. 

 

  • Looks like the Hub is getting the full speed for the 250Mb Tier?  Also your wired device looks to be limited to 10/100Mb connection?

    That BQM is pretty good, and as you say, some sites are working 100%.  I doubt if VM will be able to assist in the short term.  You can supply all this information and maybe the second line network people will take a look.

    However as far as the front line CS are concerned, your connection is working fine.  They will insist you use the Hub in Router mode for "troubleshooting", so that might give you an issue.  Also lets not forget there are no SLA's for a residential contract.  If this problem persists, you might have to get a deadlock letter and leave VM without a penalty via the Onbudsman?
