Hello, i'm wondering if it's possible to upgrade my current router Hub 3 to Hub 5. I read that the Hub 5 router is WiFi 6 and has 7 Aerials instead of 5 in the Hub3.
You may have to pay to get a hub 5 as VM don't upgrade a working hub if your hub was to die then yes a new hub 5 will be best.
For better wifi you can get your own router with 1Gb ports and use hub in modem mode
Short answer no. Long answer, VM provide you with a rented hub that is fit for the speed of your current plan, you cannot just ‘upgrade’ to a higher numbered one. WiFi is very problematic and a hub5 my not give better WiFi than a hub3. It all matter on the local environment.
