Unwanted calls

I'm getting calls from 020884010xx saying they are phoning from virginmedia.com regarding my intrernet, they sound as there in a large room with other people on phones which means I can't hear them is this a scam call or a true virginmedia.com call

    Any calls from us will only be from the 0345 454 1111 number.

    Any other numbers - reach out to us and we'll verify.
