You must have a Hub5. Problem is the hub only has 100/1000M ports and the Taso only works with a 10M port. The way out is to but a cheap 5 port 10/100/1000 network switch and put it between the hub and the Tado. Been reported before and this is the only way to get the Tado working.

Cant answer this but others on here will be able to - but I suspect the reason lies in the tech spec below.

VM does not support IPv6 (only IPv4)

    EDIT Cheers Tudor 👍

look to get your own router with 1Gb ports and use hub in modem mode

  • Did you ever find a solution to this? I bought a 10/100MB TP switch and it also still isn’t working for me.

After weeks of trying 10/100 and 10/100/1000 switches (many have this as a solution that works ok so don't discount for £7) , eero mesh, powerline.

I got this one working : TP-Link TL-WA850RE N300Mbps (£15). It converts wifi to network wired. Was also a suggestion from tado

(their suggestions about changing DNS or getting different non virgin kit can be ignored - as you not supposed do that, and you can't change DNS on virgin hubs.)

    Please note:

The current line of Tado X equipment does not use an Ethernet connection, but use WiFi and Matter, so this problem does not exist with the new stuff. Anyone buying new Tado equipment would be advised to purchase the X range.
