Superhub 3 - RED LIGHT

Hi,

Once again after 2 years of the previous being swapped, I've noticed the Superhub 3 showing the red light / overheat warning. It isn't just related to the high heat as this has been present for a few weeks prior to the recent heatwave.

I'm posting as I understand a mod will likely pick this up and contact me. Presumably it will require replacement.

    Yes it will require replacement, was this a replacement hub 3 for another hub 3?

    In which case, it’s not too surprising, the hub 3 hasn’t been manufactured for some time, any replacement will be old, probably second hand, and likely to fail in the same way fairly quickly.

    The issue is that LEDs age and when they do they tend to look redder and redder. I would expect anyone with a Hub 3 will have this situation within the next year or so.
