Signal problem and superhub flashing red

Hi a week or so ago my hub started flashing red around the same time every night early hours usually around 1am and sometimes wouldn’t stop flashing until 7am. I few days ago I notice there was a problems in my area in status page on virgin media site and recommended fix was early morning few days ago since then I am still getting the flashing red on superhub but now it’s during the day also. I checked the status page again and there’s been no problems reported in my area and no maintenance planned. Now it is saying there is a signal problem and to check back in 24 hours but when I come back sometimes it says it’s fine but then again later when it starts flashing red it says check in 24 hours but it’s been a few days like this now. One minute it’s ok for long periods then it just goes down sometimes for several hours. I can’t see what the next steps after the 24 hours are because it’s kind of fixing it self then breaking again. So the 24 hour message is always there. Any help? Do I need someone to take a look at it?

  • Thanks for the reply. Called the number you suggested and it says there’s no problems in area. Superhub is continuing to flash red  on occasions but now even without flashing red internet is dropping completely sometimes for few minutes sometimes for few hours this has been almost a week like this now.

    Try the “free & automated” Service Status number - 0800 561 0061 - which usually gives the most up to date info. and tells you of more local issues and fix estimates, down to street cab/ postcode level.
