Service status messages

A few days ago I had a problem with my internet and so on the Service Status page I put my number in to receive updates to when the service is back online.

It worked and let me know by text when it was back online - only thing is, I’ve been receiving texts since then on an almost daily basis updating me on other random service issues 

How do I stop these service status texts?

    Welcome to the community and thanks for taking the time to post here on the forums. I’m sorry to hear of the issues that you’re having with text messages advising the fault in your area has been resolved. Have the messages continued since you last posted or have they stopped now?

  • Ahoy there!

    I'm also receiving a huge quantity of SMS messages about service status in my area.  I can't see an option to stop notifications and it's driving me crazy!  Surely there's a STOP or TURN OFF notifications, as I so many others, I'm getting swamped by these things.  Please turn this off for me (and others) or better still, have an OFF button on the service status page.

      We're sorry to hear you're having an issue with receiving texts even after the fault has been closed. We don't have a way to change this on the system. Can you try replying to the latest message saying STOP?

  • Hello I am also receiving a large amount of these notification and i am almost at my wits end with this is there any way i can get you guys to remove me from your system please.

      This means the outage has returned / still happening this will stop once the outage ends.
