Service Goes Down Every Morning

I live in North London and almost every day between about 8-11am for the past few weeks the whole service (TV, Internet, phone) is intermittent - goes down, comes back for a few minutes, goes down again. As I work from home it's extremely infuriating. Is anyone else experiencing this? Am wondering, before I go through the process of trying to get hold of someone at Virgin, if it's a general service problem or just unique to us?

Check with Area faults on 0800 561 0061 If you have a VM landline 150 this goes down to post code level. You could also try the web page status, but this is not recommended as it only covers issues that affect a very large number of customers.

VM will not dispatch any technicians while an area fault exists.

    If no area faults found:

The primary place to report faults or for service requests is Customer Services on 0345 454 1111/150 if you have a VM landline or wait two or three days for a VM staff member to get to your post. This board is not a fault reporting system.

  • Hello Reebop1.

Thanks for your first post and welcome to our community.

We're sorry to hear about the connection dropping in the mornings, especially as you're reliant on this to work from home.

We've ran some checks on your hub and noticed a SNR issue in your area. Basically the network has some interference which our engineers are working on right now.

This is estimated to be fixed at 15:00 on the 8 October.

You can pop back on here after the above date and ask for an update. Just quote this reference number F011494437 and we will be happy to chase this up.

It may also be advised on our service status page here or bay calling 0800 561 0061.

Sorry again for the inconvenience this may be causing you.
