Security settings

Hi 

I’m having problems with the security setting on my WiFi box. I turn on parental settings and my WhatsApp won’t work properly or load any media, even though I’ve unticked peer to peer. I turn off all the parental settings and WhatsApp works fine and media loads. 

can anyone help or know anymore about this?

    Parental controls will block Social Media / Messenger & Conf Call services and Office VPNs.

    Any adult or infant that changes the DNS on their device to use a Public DNS
    will bypass the VM parental controls - so be warned it is super easy to evade these controls.

    "peer to peer" or P2P is a form of device to device file transfer.
    Perhaps there are other categories that may permit WhatsApp.
