Return equipment and service issue

I have been with Virgin for many years, the service is shocking, and only gets worse, and much more expensive. I have just changed my package to Essential Broadband only, after my constant complaints about some of my services not working for days or even weeks, are constantly ignored. When I phone, the customer service is soul destroying and takes forever, with no resolution at the end of the call.            So now I have had messages to send the Tivo box back, I am disabled, ordered, and have just received a box (a week later) and now I am expected to take it to a Yodel store. I have looked at the local Yodel stores, and I cannot get to the nearest one, it is too far away, and not on any bus route. I have nobody to take it to any store, and am unable to take it myself. Once again, Virgin is a waste of time and money, and causing nothing but problems for me. If they want the box, they will have to send someone to collect it from my home. Also, how about a refund for services I have been unable to use over the past year especially?

  • You've had a frustrating experience with Virgin Media. Contact them immediately to request alternative return options for the TiVo box, such as home collection. Request refunds for unavailable services. Gather evidence of service disruptions. Consider alternative providers and escalate the issue to Ofcom if necessary.

  • You should be able to arrange doorstep collection if you call customer services on 0345 454 1111 and state clearly that you are disabled and require doorstep collection.

      They are now threatening to charge me, they are just scammers!!!

  • Thank you both for your help, they sent a tiny box, which the Tivo box would not fit in to. I just rang them on the above number, told them they would have to collect it, and am now informed that I did not have to send it back. I told him Virgin had better not try to charge me for not sending it back, and he assured me there would be no charge on my account. You nice helpful people are my witnesses! Lol, thank you both for your assistance, I will be making my complaints next,

      Now they are threatening to charge me by txt msgs. So I just rang them and got cut off 3 times. I have had more than enough of these fools!!!
