Relay Connection

I have a WD My Could Home storage device and I wish to use Local Network Access but I cannot enable this as the connection type is Relay and not Local on the device. I have followed the instructions on the Western Digital Website Support pages including configuring Port Forward. I'm unsure if I have done this correctly but I still have a Relay connection. I had previously used Local Network Access but I have been using by Mobile more recently so cannot stay when this access ceased. 

Help appreciated.

    Hey hellebobs, thank you for reaching out and a warm welcome to the community I am sorry to hear about this.

    I would advise following these steps;

    1. Reboot Windows and Sign In again.
    2. Type File Explorer in the search box.
    3. Click File Explorer.
    4. Click Network.
    5. Double-click into the My Cloud Home.
    6. Enter the local network user name.
    7. Ensure the local network user password.
    8. Select the private share.

    If this doesn't work I would reach out to the manufacturer for advice.
