Red Light Permanently On Hub 3

I have tried the recommendations of unplugging and leaving before restarting the hub several times and the pin reset but the red light is still on. The hub is warm but not hot to touch and in an open space. Is there anything else I can try? Thanks.

  • my previous box was like that for years when in modem only mode. I read somewhere, some versions of SH3 are like that. If it ain't broke, don't fix it.

      In the last few days wifi connection and speeds have been erratic, I assume this is related to the red light/overheating fault?

        Thanks for reaching out to us, sorry to hear of the issues that you are facing with the red light on your Hub. The red light can be a number of this, It can be fault related, or healthy and safety In terms of the Hub overheating, and can also be the LED has simply broke and Is Stuck on Red but the service remains the same.
