Red flashing light on router

For the past hour and a bit router has had a flashing red light - timed perfectly for return to work (from home)

Checked the status of my connection and it says router too hot, moved away from where it has been working perfectly for the last month and followed steps recommended and no change, it certainly does not feel warm in any way.

Any help appreciated, have booked a technician for the morning but if there is something simple I need to do as Internet much needed today.

    We're sorry to hear you were having some issues with your Hub. Taking a look at things this end, it looks as though an area fault was raised. 

    How have things been since you last posted? Are you still having the same issue?
