Over a month and still not connected
Hi, i created my virgin media account at the end of July and received my router and two streaming boxes and was told that my internet would be switched over from sky via siro in the next few days, they also opened a case number for the switch but i was never switched over and since mid august i have been without internet or tv. I have been on the phone with tech support every few days to try solve the issue and they keep telling me that it is an account issue and will be solved in 24 to 48 hours, i assumed they were correct at first but on the 17th of august, the claimed that i had cancelled and switched back to sky but after explaining that i hadn’t, i was told that the case had been called off due to no switch taking place and they opened a new case then, in the last week when calling they said that siro were working on the issue and that i was to be able to expect a technician to arrive to switch my siro box which might belong to sky, this has not happened yet and today i received a message saying that the case is closed and the issue is solved yet again when it hasn’t. I believe i need a technician to come and change the siro box but no one i’ve talked to has listened to this. i will also mention that when i sign into the virgin media app it says that there’s a problem displaying my account information and the tv stream boxes come up with account error 1011, As a last hope i’m creating this discussion to try get a conclusion as at this point i am more than fed up with the situation
