Ongoing Internet Connectivity Issues with Virgin Hub 5

Hi Virgin Media Team,

I’m experiencing several connectivity issues with my Virgin Hub 5 that seem related. Here are the details:

  1. Slow Device Connection: When turning on my laptop, it is connected to the Wi-Fi but often has no internet access until I disconnect and reconnect.
  2. VPN Connection Problems: I frequently have trouble connecting to my work VPN. For example, when trying to connect, disconnections occur regularly, and I would be booted from Zoom calls etc. This doesn’t happen with other Wi-Fi networks or my mobile hotspot.
  3. Ring Doorbell Issues: My Ring doorbell frequently disconnects and fails to capture events. Live View often doesn’t work, and rebooting the doorbell only provides a temporary fix. I’ve tried a new Ring device, but the same issues persist.

I know these issues seem unrelated bur they have led me to believe the hub may struggle with idle or changing connections, impacting overall performance.

Could you please assist in diagnosing and resolving these issues? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
