No WiFi signal in my room – need wired WiFi access point or pod installation

Hi everyone, Im currently having some wifi issues in my room. The virgin hub is currently in another room on the same floor, but between us theres a thick wall, corridor and the kitchen - My room barley gets any wifi signal.

Ive already tried using a tp Link wifi extender in my room and the kitchen but it cant pick up the signal from the hub or the connection is still extremely weak.

Moving the router to my room isn't really an option as the signal wouldn't reach the rest of the house properly and would cause the sam issue for everyone else. Running a long ethernet from the hub to my laptop isnt very practical too as it would need to go through rooms and doorways which isn't the most ideal solution.

I need a proper solution that gives me strong wifi coverage in my room, ideally through a wired wifi pod or additional coax outlet that can support an access point.

I dont mind if an engineer needs to run a cable or drill a small hole - Its a rented property, So It its need to be a small neat and professional job.

Can someone please advise me on my options.

The WiFi extender needs to be halfway between the Hub and your room. Not in a weak spot where there is no signal to extend …

I considered this as an option but after watching reviews it doesn't seem like its a good solution

If you can't get a good enough speed using a PLA, then the only other option is an direct ethernet wired connection to the Hub.  Use a WiFi access point on the other end.  Good advice has been given and the choice is yours.
