Need to move router

The router is in an unsuitable location, one of my children's bedrooms, which the previous owner used as his office. Not only is it in the way of her stuff, she keeps her bedroom door closed, which probably contributes to the crap speeds. We need it moved downstairs, so I want to book an engineer's visit.

Do I just need to loiter here on these boards until someone from Virgin gets in contact?
