Move router

I have seen similar questions on this forum but they all get answered via DM so the rest of us on the forum learn nothing.
My router is at one end of my bungalow and wifi signal is quite intermittent at the opposite end. I have used extension type leads to see if things improve by moving the router to a more central position - and they do.
How much to get it moved please? Who should I talk to to find this out? Is this option anywhere on the VM site? Once I have the price how do I arrange?

Thanks

£25 standard non fault call out charge.  Just wait here a day or two for a VM Mod to pick this up and discuss directly with you.

Its a reasonable £25 to move and rewire it and then to rebalance all the power levels.  Try these options first

You can text VM on 0753 305 1809 include account name/number and what the issue is, there is also a “Chat” option on their website - but note that replies usually take longer.

Or the better option is... you can speak to the team on WhatsApp by logging into your online account via a mobile handset and there will be a link to speak to VM by Whats App (the number is 0780 3089 684 ) - you can use the same number for their other social media platforms too (TwitX/Fbook. etc) - so try them all.

FINALLY… A VM person will pick this up on here and respond, but it can take a few days for them to get here.

  • Hey JohnFoot, thank you for reaching out and a warm welcome to the community I am sorry to hear about your WIFI issues.

We can look at moving it for you but there would be a one off charge of £25, I will send you a DM now.
